Advise a client on contractual terms in an operations and maintenance agreement for our Projects team.

This job simulation is intended to give you an insight into the type of work you could typically expect to be involved with as a junior member of our leading global Projects team. We operate across the energy and infrastructure sectors, advising lenders, governments and sponsors on innovative and high profile projects.

You will be asked to advise a fictional client of the firm, Vento plc, in relation to its delivery of an offshore wind farm in Scotland. Your task will involve reviewing and amending a clause of the operations and maintenance agreement currently being negotiated between Vento and Konservi, a fictional services provider to be engaged by Vento to operate and maintain the wind farm once it has been constructed.

Developing excellent drafting skills is crucial for any commercial lawyer, and you will be required to use these skills on a daily basis throughout your career.

This program is self-paced. It takes approximately 1-2 hours to complete.
