Supply Planning Specialist
The Supply Planning Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate availability of raw materials to support production requirements while maintaining inventory targets and optimizing supply chain performance. This role serves as a key liaison between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and operations teams to ensure material flow continuity, inventory accuracy, and effective planning execution.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the timely arrival of raw materials according to production schedules and customer demand requirements.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to achieve established inventory value targets while minimizing shortages and excess stock.
Develop and execute material planning strategies to support production continuity.
Collaborate with suppliers to track deliveries, resolve supply issues, and improve service levels.
Analyze demand requirements and adjust material plans accordingly.
Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data within ERP systems.
Coordinate effectively with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Customer Service, and external suppliers.
Lead and support supply chain improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Identify risks related to material shortages and implement mitigation plans.
Generate reports and KPIs related to inventory performance, material availability, and supplier performance.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Material Planning, Inventory Management, or related functions.
Experience within the Automotive Industry is required.

ERP experience, preferably JDE (JD Edwards) and CPLAN.
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Understanding of MRP and inventory control processes.
