Bay6.ai is looking for a highly capable AI Developer who is passionate about building real-world AI systems — not just experimenting with prompts.
We are building enterprise-grade AI agents, conversational AI platforms, and intelligent workflow automation solutions for industries including insurance, financial services, higher education, and legal services.
This role is intentionally selective. We are looking for builders, problem-solvers, and engineers who stay current with the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem and can translate that knowledge into production-ready systems.
What You’ll Work On
- Enterprise AI agents and agentic workflows
- Conversational AI and multi-channel chatbot platforms
- RAG pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems
- LLM integrations and orchestration frameworks
- AI workflow automation and API integrations
- Prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails
- AI solutions deployed in secure enterprise environments
What We’re Looking For
You should already have hands-on experience building AI applications — academically, professionally, independently, or through open-source contributions. Candidates based in US East or Central time zones only.
Strong candidates will typically have experience with several of the following:
- Python and modern backend development
- OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source LLM ecosystems
- LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks
- Vector databases and RAG architectures
- AI agent orchestration and tool-calling workflows
- FastAPI, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and integrations
- Prompt engineering and LLM evaluation techniques
- AWS/Azure/GCP deployment environments
- GitHub/Git-based portfolio of real projects
Important
- We are open to exceptional graduate students, but this is not an entry-level learning role.
- You must be comfortable with coding assessments and technical deep-dives.
- Candidates who can demonstrate shipped projects, GitHub repositories, experiments, or production work will be strongly preferred.
- We value curiosity, speed, engineering discipline, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-changing AI landscape.
What We Are NOT Looking For
- Resume-driven applicants with no real AI development work
- Candidates who have only used no-code AI tools
- Applicants without hands-on coding ability
- Generic software developers trying to “move into AI”
