Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Field Engineer to oversee the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical equipment and systems at customer sites. The successful candidate will provide advanced technical expertise, lead field service activities, mentor junior engineers, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, test, and maintain equipment and systems at customer locations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
- Lead field service activities from installation through final acceptance while coordinating with customers and internal teams.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior field engineers and technicians.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
- Conduct inspections, system performance evaluations, and root cause failure analyses.
- Prepare detailed service reports, technical documentation, and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and end users.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, sales, and customer support teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and system improvements.
- Participate in emergency service call-outs and provide on-site technical support when required.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, or related discipline).
- 3+ years of field engineering or technical service experience.
- Strong knowledge of equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and maintenance management systems.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50-75% based on customer project requirements.

Work Environment
- Semiconductor wafer fabrication facility, cleanroom, assembly/test manufacturing environment, or advanced packaging operation.

- Ability to work in cleanroom attire (PPE) and comply with semiconductor manufacturing safety protocols
